The AT follows an old trolley bed. Here it is
coincident with the Ramble Trail which leads to the parking on US 30. Taken at
approximately mm 19.6. Courtesy dlcul@conncoll.edu

Thaddeus Stevens Blacksmith shop, now a museum in Caledonia
State Park. Hiker parking is located a short distance east at the
intersection of US 30 and PA 233. There is also some parking across the
road from the blacksmith shop. The actual trail crossing of US 30 (Mile 19.7
of Section 13) is 0.4 miles to the west. Note: Stevens was a prominent
abolitionist. I have read that there is no evidence he ever set foot in this
 establishment. Courtesy dlcul@conncoll.edu
