1.0 MM. This is the old Rumford Falls and Rangeley Railbed that a gravel road has been built over. This is the first road access in section 7. I recommend parking here as you descend 700 feet from ME 17 before climbing the Bemis Range, so this way you start at the bottom either northbound or southbound and immediately climb.
