'Feral' iris south of Blue Mountain Lakes Road. The trail follows what was a housing development road along the ridge. At one time there were cabins along this ridge. They were torn down when the Federal Government bought the land for the Delaware Water Gap Recreation area. This patch of iris was once in somebody's front yard. Courtesy dlcul@conncoll.edu
