Parking at Helen Kelly Field, about a block from the Lions Field. To get to the latter, walk towards the ridge along Elm Street for one block. The Village Vista Trail begins behind Lions Field.

Just north of New Jersey, the AT runs along Bearfort Mountain which offers excellent views, particularly of Greenwood Lake to the east. Taken at approx. mm 2.2
