mm 6.2 A.T. Trail Head at Old Stormville Mountain Road. The green directional arrow painted on the street shows where the AT actually goes, and the direction to head while coming off the AT onto paved roads for about 0.3 miles. There is sign on the trail reminding people to respect private property during this walk through a residential neighborhood.

Old stone fence at top of rock. In the old days when this was pasture land, this hopefully kept stock from falling over the sheer rock face. Taken at approx. mm 6.3

mm 7.1 - Parking lot on the northern side of route 52 just west of where the AT crosses route 52. The entrance to the parking lot can look like a residential driveway from the road, but it is an official AT parking lot.
