Early spring view acros the Susequehanna River towards Duncannon from the power lines at mm 13.1. The other river is the Juniata River which joins the Susquehanna at the north end of Duncannon.

mm 13.7 Northern junction with the blue-blazed Susquehanna Trail. This is a shorter but steeper and rockier alternative to the AT. The two trails meet again near the south end of the section.
