mm 5.2 Shelton Graves. The Sheltons, uncle and nephew, were from North Carolina but were in the Union Army during the Civil War. After returning home for a visit, they were ambushed and killed near here along with a young boy who served as a lookout. GPS N36.0515 W 82.6178
