Max Patch Parking area on NC 1152 (Max Patch Road). From here an old road can be followed to meet the AT at mm 19.6. Max patch Road can also be followed 0.3 miles to meet the AT at mm 20.6 at the southern end of Section 15. An unofficial path also leads directly to the summit at mm 19.8. Courtesy dlcul@conncoll.edu
