5I traveled this route November and December of 2019. Road east from parking area is a very well maintained gravel that turns into pavement. Road west from parking is a bit rougher but still very passable for most any car.m3welker @ yahoo.com1/11/2020 11:39:15 AM
4 parked here last week, late February 2018, and had no trouble at all. All 7 or so miles of road, Coffeytown Road, or 634, and even after it becomes USFS 63, were in good shape. This road is much more comfortable to drive on than Wiggins Spring, which is right nearby. I do not have a truck or jeep, I have a regular car, a Ford flex, and this road was no problem at all. A couple spots with some rocks, but nothing treacherous. My car was the only one there that day but there is plenty of room for several cars to comfortably park. I did not see any other people, but as a woman hiking alone, nothing about this experience made me nervous or uncomfortable at all. 2parked here recently for 2 days. the usfs road was in rough shape and about .5 miles from parking area was getting close to impassable. this was in june 2011. no problems otherwise as this road looked rarely traveled. jeannie45 @ verizon.net7/28/2011 4:47:03 PM
