3	Parked here last weekend for a 3 day hike south to Jennings creek. No problems. parking area is just off the parkway and accessible from petites gap rd as well. This was crucial to us because the BR parkway was closed due to a wild fire. Can't say its any safer or less remote than others, but we didn't have any problems.
